Charlie Rangel has the most powerful perch in Congress as head of the House Ways and Means Committee.
Rangel has just " remembered " a whole list of assets he has failed to disclose .
Congressman Rangel has been arrogant in refusing to discuss how, as the man who writes this country's tax laws, he failed to report over $1 million in outside income and $3 million in business transactions as required by the House.
Now it has been disclosed that Rangel gave campaign contributions to 3 of 5 members on the House Ethics Committee , that is investigating his " dirty deed"
Congressmen Ben Chandler of Kentucky, G.K. Butterfield of North Carolina and Peter Welch of Vermont. All have received donations from Rangel.
Welch has decided it might be prudent to give back the $ 20,000.00 he received from Rangel.
Shouldnt we be asking why these 3 have not recused themselves from the so called " investigation " ?
Why has Nancy Pelosi not put Good Ole Charlie on the sidelines until the investigation is complete ? Why has Obama not chastised Rangel ? After all we are under a grand new " transparent " administration aren't we ?
The question one has to ask one's self every day is " Where is the media and why are they not reporting on this " ?
Here is a great Idea..... lets round up 5 Republican SENATORS who have never taken money from Rangel and let them investigate his " omissions "
