Fact-Checking the President on Health Insurance

Last week Obama addressed a joint session of Congress.depending on who you ask it was either his worst or best speech ever . Most Obama supporters though the next day it was a big win for the Obama.



Senator Snowe says the votes are not in the SENATE to pass this horrible bill.Obama would have you to believe he is " being nice " and letting the conservatives vote on this bill.Truth is he cant get enough Democrats to vote for it .Just another twist of the truth by OBAMA .

Less than one week after the BIASED media proclaimed a landslide victory , it looks like Obama is in deep trouble and the American people's confidence in his policies is going south like a rock down a mine shaft .

Joe Wilson has seen a huge wave of support for his statement !!!

Congressman Joe Wilson shouted LIAR when Obama said " no illegal immigrants would be covered .

Now we find out the lawmakers have circled the wagons and have been FORCED to put language into ( whichever bill as they have no real plan still ) that would require VERIFICATION of LEGAL CITIZENSHIP.

Obama recited what appeared to be egregious acts of policy cancellation by PRIVATE insurance providers

"More and more Americans pay their premiums, only to discover that their insurance company has dropped their coverage when they get sick, or won't pay the full cost of care. It happens every day."



Obama went on to tell the story of an Illinois man who "lost his coverage in the middle of chemotherapy because his insurer found he hadn't reported gallstones that he didn't even know about." The president continued: "They delayed his treatment, and he died because of it."

Like any other statement that comes out of Obama's mouth , once it is dissected and vetted the truth is revealed and it is 180 degrees opposite of what it sounded like !!!

Naturally the transcript of a June 16 hearing on industry practices before the Subcommittee of Oversight and Investigation of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce reveals a more focused look at this outrageous statement. The deceased's sister testified that the insurer reinstated her brother's coverage following intervention by the Illinois Attorney General's Office. She testified that her brother received a prescribed stem-cell transplant within the desired three- to four-week "window of opportunity" from "one of the most renowned doctors in the whole world on the specific routine," that the procedure "was extremely successful," and that "it extended his life nearly three and a half years."

Obama kind of MISREPRESENTED that now didnt he ? So w e went from the " bad ole insurance company " cancelled this man's insurance and he died , to he received a stem cell transplant? WOW.............I wonder how much a stem cell transplant costs ? Would Obama's Bureaucrats on the state run health plan approve the costs for your ill parent knowing it would only prolong their life for 3.5 years ?


I live in Alabama and knew this next " tall tale " was exactly that,if not an outright lie .

Obama used Alabama to buttress his call for a government insurer to enhance competition in health insurance. He asserted that 90% of the Alabama health-insurance market is controlled by one insurer, and that high market concentration "makes it easier for insurance companies to treat their customers badly—by cherry-picking the healthiest individuals and trying to drop the sickest; by overcharging small businesses who have no leverage; and by jacking up rates."

In fact, the Birmingham News reported immediately following the speech that the state's largest health insurer, the nonprofit Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama, has about a 75% market share. A representative of the company indicated that its "profit" averaged only 0.6% of premiums the past decade, and that its administrative expense ratio is 7% of premiums, the fourth lowest among 39 Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans nationwide.

Go to the Blue Cross website for Alabama and take 5 minutes to view the plan and ask yourself if its good enough for you ?
Don't fool yourself , some things are EXCLUDED . Transgender operations are not covered , neither is flying to Kathmandu , Nepal to see a YOGI .
