LTC TERYY LARKIN CALLS THE BLUFF AND DOUBLES DOWN

Army Lieutenant Colonel Terry Lakin has placed a bet on his career and retirement .
Lakin ,is a U.S. Army flight surgeon with 18 years of service .
LTC Lakin has declared he believes his orders to deploy to Afghanistan for a second tour of duty are illegal.

Lieutenant Colonel Terrence (“Terry”) Lakin serves as Chief of Primary Care and Flight Surgeon for the Pentagon’s DiLorenzo TRICARE Health Clinic. He is the lead Flight Surgeon charged with caring for Army Chief of Staff General Casey’s pilots and air crew. LTC Lakin, selected for promotion to Colonel, is a native of Colorado, whose residency is Tennessee.

LTC Lakin’s numerous awards and decorations include the Army Flight Surgeon Badge, Combat Medical Badge, the Bronze Star Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters, the Army Achievement Medal with one Oak Leaf Clusters, the National Defense Service Medal with Bronze Service Star, the Armed Forces Expedition Medal, the Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal, the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Service Ribbon sixth award and the NATO service medal. He has served previously in Honduras, Bosnia, El Salvador, Korea, and Afghanistan.


Naturally this man will never be prosecuted , he will be treated in a manner much like Maj. Stefan Frederick Cook.

LTC Lakin will likely be reassigned and his orders to deploy revoked .
A court proceeding would enable his lawyer to issue motions of discovery that the White House can ill afford to be made public.
What will the Army say? Some sort of dribble about him not being 100% emotionally invested in the mission and therefore a danger to himself and fellow soldiers .

The Huffington Post has taken point on this matter for the White House and posted this feeble attempt to spin the matter.

Opps I meant they will avoid this matter entirely .

Will Gibbs recite the same tired ,canned response he has for over a year ?
You can bet your bottom dollar on it !

Obama now has a PERFECT opportunity to clear the air , discredit his detractors , and unite the citizens behind him.
Sadly, he will hide from this opportunity as if he was sneaking a smoke !
