The report, prepared by incoming White House attorney Greg Craig includes a surprising mention of a NON TRANSITION TEAM MEMBER . Dr. Eric Whitaker. One should ask who is Dr. Eric Whitaker and why would he be included in an internal investigation focused on OBAMA'S newly appointed white house staff and potential contacts that were made to the office of Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich ?
Whitaker Served As Director Of The Illinois Department Of Public Health After Obama Recommended Him For The Post Through Obama's Friend Tony Rezko, Who Was Advising Gov. Blagojevich On Whom To Hire For Top State Posts. Being recommended by REZKO..wow what a ringing endorsement ..naturally there was no "pay to play " involved with REZKO extortion model . Deputy Governor Louanner Peters called him ( Whitaker ) at his office and left a message. When he ( Whitaker ) returned the call, Ms. Peters asked who spoke for the President-Elect with respect to the Senate appointment. She explained that the Governor’s office had heard from others withrecommendations about the vacant seat. She stated that the Governor’s office wanted to knowwho, if anyone, had the authority to speak for the President-Elect. Dr. Whitaker said he would find out.
The President-Elect told Dr. Whitaker that no one was authorized to speak for him on the matter.
The President-Elect said that he had no interest in dictating the result of the selection process,
and he would not do so, either directly or indirectly through staff or others. Dr. Whitaker relayed
that information to Deputy Governor Peters.
Several questions come to mind here .1. Why would the Deputy governor call DR. Whitaker to see who was speaking for OBAMA on this matter ? Maybe since REZKO wife and BLAGO wife did real estate deals together this was simply a surrogate for the bribe for the SENATE appointment
2 Why would OBAMA let the Good Doctor relay the message back? Shouldn't a staff member like Rahm do this ?
"plausible deniability " quite simply there was something funny going on here and OBAMA was being careful to insulate himself from it
Smart money says Dr. Eric Whitaker is included in this report because there is smoke and it leads back to Rahm or OBAMA some how . BLAGO is going to roll over and one can bet he has lots of records and recordings .
